Hunter is an up and coming male in our program that is here to serve as a hunting companion and in-house stud dog. I love his pedigree, in fact he is out of one of the last litters ever produced by FC AFC Yellowstone's TNT Explosion (Nitro) who had 83 all-age points, 15 derby points, and was a NARC Finalist in 2002 & 2003.

Hunter is a taller dog and very well built at about 75lbs. He is sweet, personable and a joy to train. We got Hunter later in his life, just before he turned 2 years of age. He came to us with obedience, collar conditioning and force fetch completed (by his breeder Cory Kienow) but ultimately he was behind in his field training. He spent the winter, spring and early summer of 2024 with Derek Randle and Kristin Ingram of The Retriever Academy. During this time he was not only receiving professional training, but hunted the flooded timber of Arkansas, trained in Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas as well as earned his UKC HRC Hunting Retriever title!

We are excited for the attributes and genetics that Hunter brings our breeding program and know he will be a great asset to our hunting dog lineup as well.
