This pairing is a surefire combo for a great active family companion and capable gundog in the field. If other dog sports are your goal, we are confident this litter is a great candidate!
Biggie is owned by Tom Waite of Dale Creek Gundogs (Burlington, WI). We train with Tom, and know his program has rigorous requirements for their breeding dogs. Tom is an all sporting breed trainer with credentials in retrievers, spaniels and pointing dogs. He spends time at his place in North Dakota hunting upland and waterfowl so his dogs are very experienced in real-deal hunting. Biggie is a 75lbs, well built, muscular dog with exceptional looks and an eager to work and please attitude. He is social, outgoing, loves the water and easy to train. Dale Creek Kennels uses him as a stud dog regularly and their clients with Biggie's puppies love their dogs! Both of Biggie's parents are AKC Senior Hunters and more impressively, life long hunters who have more time in the blind and uplands than most dogs.
Sasha is owned by Sammie Harms, who helps take care of our kennel and trains our dogs. She is a Hunting Retriever Champion (HRCH) titled dog in the HRC hunt test venue, as well as an AKC Master Hunter. She is about 60lbs, and a full time house dog at Sammie's place. Sasha is a very calm and easy going girl that has plenty of style and drive in her work, but loves couch time, car rides and any form of physical attention. To us, she is the ideal hunting companion and family dog. This will be Sasha's final litter and she will enjoy hunting, training and testing for the rest of her days with Sammie.
