Frank and Porter were bred the first week of February and we are excited about this cross! Frank is an all around great dog that has the typical Labrador temperament, but a diligent working dog with intensity and grit. He loves to train, has a great nose, and there is no retrieve he will not give his all on. Porter is a 52lb chocolate female that is mild-mannered, easy to manage and a great hunting dog. She is a main member of our preserve guide string that hunts several days per week all season. Porter covers the field nicely, does have a natural point and is a pleasure to be around.

Both Frank and Porter boast exceptional pedigrees. Frank is sired by FC AFC Jazztime Northern Exposure and Porter is sired by AFC Ten Bears Road Trip. Both dogs are listed on our website for health clearance information. Note: Frank is an EIC carrier so puppies could be a carrier. This is nothing to worry about; carriers just mean they carry the genetic condition but will never be affected. The only caution one must take with a carrier is to not breed the dog to another carrier or affected dog. In this case, we bred a carrier (Frank) to a CLEAR dog (Porter), which is OK.
