Mia is our keeper puppy out of the FC AFC Homer x HR Reddie litter. She is EIC and CNM clear by parentage, and has her OFA certifications for her hips (Excellent) and elbows (Normal). Mia is becoming a very nice dog and pairs her talent with a very sweet and social temperament. She is the type that wants to be right next to you, a true velcro dog! Last year, Mia spent a lot of time with RWM Retrievers (Richard Meisemann) working towards her AKC Master title. She earned her Senior title and then 2 Master passes.
In the fall of 2020, Mia had the chance to gain experience in the upland hunting arena. She was on a preserve every weekend hunting for my father and I. She is a very proficient bird finder that works tirelessly to find birds. Her flush is animated and aggressive and her ability to mark fallen birds is outstanding. We will look to finish her AKC master title (2 passes currently) but we will not pass up the chance to utilize her in the uplands again this year in 2021.
Mia's first litter was gorgeous (bred to GRHRCH Willie MH of Lincoln Creek Labs) and while they are young yet, the families are very happy. We will repeat that same breeding again this winter.
