If I were going to do a breeding to create the ideal hunt test dog, this would be it! Coupe is an athletic, strong and well-built Labrador Retriever that is a full time house dog, a hunting dog and an exceptional hunt test dog that is consistent and easy to handle. Dixie is more of the same. Both dogs are incredibly social and loving dogs that truly thrive on human affection, but are also as intelligent of a dog as one could ever want. Both dogs are easy to be around, easy to train, fun to handle and just ideal retrievers for the home and field.

Southfork recently added a puppy to our pack as a future stud dog pupil, "Chase". Chase is out of Coupe, so we know first hand the ability and talent that Coupe produces. Dixie is one of, if not the most talented dog in our lineup. She is obedient and probably the most biddable dog I own. She is an AKC Master Hunter and only needs one more HRC Finished pass for her HRCH title.

Dixie is in season as of the week of April 25, 2022. We expect the breeding to take place in the next 2 weeks which would mean puppies should go home around September timeframe. Perfect timing to housebreak before winter!
